The British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) announced today that Penticton?s forward Garrett Milan has been named the Interior Conference Rookie of the Year Bruce Allison Memorial Trophy winner. Last week Milan picked up three awards at the Penticton Vees Annual Awards Banquet. Milan was named the Fan Favorite, Most Inspirational and Rookie of the Year. Garrett Milan ended his first regular season with the Vees playing 60 games and earning 57 points including 25 goals and 32 assists.
The Penticton Vees start their first round of play offs Friday February 27th when they host the Prince George Spruce Kings. Game time is 7:05pm and tickets are available at the South Okanagan Events Centre Box Office.
