Tonight’s game will be broadcast on Hockey TV, starting with the pre-game show at 6:50 pm. Tickets are just $10 for adults and seniors. Local youth under 19 are FREE, courtesy of Peters Brothers Construction.

The Penticton Vees open their 2022 BCHL Exhibition schedule tonight against the Vernon Vipers. The Vees play just three pre-season games before opening the 2022-23 BCHL Regular Season on September 23rd at home against the Trail Smoke Eaters. The Vipers meanwhile have played a pair of pre-season tilts against Salmon Arm, losing both, including a 4-2 setback Tuesday at Kal Tire Place. The Vipers still have three more Exhibition games after tonight.
Tonight, begins a home-and-home set with the Vipers. Penticton and Vernon meet again next Friday, September 16th, at Kal Tire Place in the North Okanagan. This is the first meeting between the two teams since last February during the 2021-22 Regular Season. The Vees won all five games against the Vipers a season ago.

Penticton will ice a lineup very close to what you will see on opening night against the Smoke Eaters in two weeks time. A couple of veterans won’t dress, but tonight will be Vees fans first look at several new recruits for the 2022-23 season. Luca Di Pasquo, who played last season in the NAHL and is committed to Michigan State, will get the start in net for the Vees.
