Last Game: The Vees extended their win streak to 21 games with a 5-3 win Wednesday against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Penticton erased a 2-0 first period deficit to earn their second-straight come from win. The power play was the catalyst in the win, scoring four times on six opportunities. Aydar Suniev had five points (2G, 3A) in the win. Bradly Nadeau had a pair of goals and three points and Josh Nadeau had two points.

Tonight’s Game: Second meeting of the season between the Vees and Bulldogs. Last month at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack, the Vees picked up a 7-4 win over the Bulldogs. Penticton trailed 3-1 through two periods, before rallying for six goals in the third period. First visit to the Alberni Valley Multiplex for the Vees since Oct. 12, 2019. The Vees had their season-opening 11-game win streak snapped that night, losing 4-0. They hope history doesn’t repeat itself.

Scouting Report: The Bulldogs capped off their Interior Conference road trip last week with back-to-back wins over Salmon Arm and West Kelowna. Not easy, after lots of travel, as their trip started in Prince George with 5-2 loss, but they rebounded with a 5-2 win over the Silverbacks, then a 4-2 win against the Warriors. Those two wins came at the perfect time, as it ended a four-game winless streak (0-3-0-1). Starting tonight, the Bulldogs play five straight home games over the next three weeks. Big stretch of games as they look to climb above the 500 mark.
