Forward Zack Stringer commits to Brock University

PENTICTON BC. – The Penticton Vees Hockey Club is pleased to announce forward Zack Stringer (’03) has committed to Brock University for the 2024-25 season, the team announced Monday.

“Zack has come in and been an outstanding teammate on and off the ice. I am so happy that he was able to secure an opportunity to play college hockey and will be a great addition to the Brock program,” said Vees’ President, General Manager & Head Coach, Fred Harbinson.

Stringer, 20, signed with the Vees in October and has posted 13 points (5G, 8A) in 28 games. Prior to arriving in Penticton, the Lethbridge, AB, product played parts of five seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Regina Pats. In 148 career regular season games in the WHL, Stringer compiled 88 points (33G, 55A). He added another seven points (4G, 3A) in 13 playoff games.

“I’m very excited to be continuing my hockey career at Brock University next season. Thank you to my family, coaches, and teammates for all their support,” commented Stringer.

Brock University is located in St. Catharines, ON. The Brock Badgers men’s hockey team plays in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference in U SPORTS. The Badgers sit first in the OUA’s West Division with a 21-6-0-0 record through 27 games.
