Early Season Blip

The Penticton Vees beat Westside Friday and lost their Saturday and Sunday Games.

 

Friday October 3rd the Penticton Vees were in Westside to take on the Westside Warriors.  The Vees opened the scoring in the first period when Colton Jobke hit one in from Brent Vandenberg.  The Vees finished their scoring in the third period with two power play goals scored by Garrett Milan from Nathan Westover and Devon Krogh, with the second one scored by Ryan Viselli from Zack Josepher and Matt Paltridge.  The Vees outshot the Westside Warriors 26-22.

 

Saturday night the Penticton Vees travelled to Salmon Arm to take on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.  Salmon Arm opened up the scoring in the first period with the Vees scoring seven minutes later.  Travis Ouellette got one in with help from Ryan Viselli and Nathan Westover.  Salmon Arm took the lead that ended the scoring for the game in the second period with a power play goal.  Shots on Net were 19 for Salmon Arm and 20 for the Vees.

 

Sunday afternoon the Vees were in Vernon to play the Vernon Vipers.  Vernon opened the scoring in the first period with four goals, three of which were power play goals.  The Vees scored their first goal in the second period on a power play.  Anthony Perdicaro got on in with help from Brent Vandenberg and Ryan Viselli.  Vernon continued with their scoring getting another power play goal in the second period.  The Vernon Vipers scored their last goal of the after noon in beginning of the third period, Penticton scored the last goal of the game when Brent Vandenberg scored with help from Curtis McKenzie and Anthony Perdicaro.  Salmon outshot the Vees 36 to 31 shots.
