Bradly Nadeau named BC Hockey League First Star of the Week

PENTICTON, B.C. – The BC Hockey League (BCHL) announced the Three Stars of the Week on Monday, with Penticton Vees forward Bradly Nadeau named the First Star, for the week ending October 16th.

Nadeau, 17, earned top honours after he compiled six points in the Vees two wins against Merritt and Vernon. On Friday, Nadeau had four points and scored the game-winning goal in the Vees’ 5-4 overtime victory over the Centennials. Nadeau picked up assists in each of the first two periods, before scoring in the third and on a breakaway in overtime. The following night, Nadeau had a goal and an assist in Penticton’s 8-2 triumph over the Vipers. Nadeau scored in the opening frame against the Vipers and added an assist in the third.

Nadeau, who is committed to the University of Maine, is the BCHL’s leading scorer with 18 points in eight games. He leads the league in assists (11) and is tied for most goals with seven.

The Vees are back in action this Wednesday and Thursday at the 2022 BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack. Penticton faces the host Chilliwack Chiefs Wednesday at 7:00 pm, and the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Thursday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Both games are available on Bounce 800 am and on Hockey TV.
