Penticton, BC: The Penticton Vees Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is proud to announce 20-year-old forward Andre Ghantous has committed to the Northern Michigan Wildcats for the 2019-20 season.
Ghantous, from Glendale, California, joined the Vees September 25 after his rights were acquired from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. In 14 games with the Vees Ghantous has scored four goals and eight assists.
Prior to joining the Vees, Ghantous played two seasons with the Trail Smoke Eaters. In 2016-17 he scored nine goals and added 35 assists. The following year he scored 19 goals with 25 assists. In the playoffs the 5’9’’ 170-pound forward scored five goals and nine assists in 15 games.
Ghantous’ commitment makes him the 16th NCAA Division 1 committed player on the team.
