The Penticton Vees Jr. A Hockey Club handed out its annual team awards Sunday afternoon, following their thrilling 2-1 overtime win over the Victoria Grizzlies at the SOEC.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR (BC Hockey Hall of Fame): Grant Cruikshank
MVP (Making Cents Bookkeeping): Mat Robson
Ryley Risling, Grant Cruikshank, Owen Sillinger and Griffin Mendel were all multiple award winners. The Leading Scorer Award (Game Time Sports) was not handed out Sunday, as the Vees still have three road games remaining on their schedule next week; the winner will be announced at a later date.
The Penticton Vees next home game will be Friday, March 17th, in the BCHL Fred Page Cup Playoffs, as they have a first round bye, by virtue of their first overall seed in the Interior Division.
