Vees Fight Cancer Night Fast Approaching

The Penticton Vees “Vees Fight Cancer Night” is coming up next Wednesday, October 26th, at the SOEC when the Vees face-off against the Surrey Eagles.

DONATE HERE

Long-time Vees fan Jon Race is cutting his hair for the first time in nearly seven years, and donating his locks through the Canadian Cancer Society to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. Also, Vees broadcaster Fraser Rodgers, RCMP Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth and Fire Chief Larry Watkinson are also shaving their heads that night. All the hair cutting will be done on the ice during the first intermission and First Choice Haircutters is donating their services for the event.

Fans are being challenged to raise $1,000 for the head shaving event and they can make a donation online by following the link above!

Fans can also make donations in person at the game on Wednesday and those that do, can enter to win a signed Vees jersey from the 2015-16 Vees, that includes NHL draft picks Tyson Jost and Dante Fabbro.

Remember, its the Vees’ second “Wicked Wednesday” of the season, as tickets are just $5 for adults and seniors. Draft beer is only $3.75 and fountain pop is just $2.50. Students and children (18 and under) get in FREE, courtesy of Peter Bros. Construction.
