PENTICTON, BC. – The BC Hockey League announced the schedule for the 2021/22 regular season, which will span 54 games beginning on Friday, October 8th and sees the Penticton Vees open at the South Okanagan Events Centre against the Vernon Vipers.
The Vees will begin their season on Friday, October 8th against the Vipers on home ice before making their first road trip of the season the following night heading south of the border to face-off against the Wenatchee Wild. The season will conclude for Penticton on Saturday, March 19th with a weekend of back-to-back games in Cranbrook against the Bucks.
The 2021/22 season will also mark the 60th anniversary of the league with plenty of events planned that are scheduled to be released in the coming weeks, including more details on the BCHL Showcase, which will return as part of the 54-game regular season.
