Fred Harbinson: General Manager / Head Coach

Fred Harbinson is entering his sixth season as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Penticton Vees. In 2011-2012, Harbinson led the Vees to their first RBC Cup National Championship in 26 years. Under Harbinson the team also set a CJHL record, winning 42 consecutive games. The Vees set league records in wins (54) points (110) and winning percentage (.917). Harbinson was also named the 2012 BCHL Coach of the Year. In five years as the Vees Head Coach, Harbinson has won two Fred Page Cups, Doyle Cup and now a RBC Cup. Under Harbinson, 16 NHL Draft picks have played for the Vees and 66 players have committed to NCAA Division l schools.
