PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR OCTOBER
 

#12 Wade Murphy  
Wade Murphy had a month to remember in October, collecting at least a single point in all nine games, and led the team with seven goals and fifteen points. He also continued an impressive streak that is still on going, as this player has a point in all 16 games he’s played a BCHL best point-streak! Murphy, before he left for the World Junior ‘A’ Challenge, led the BCHL in scoring with 26 points in 15 games and still sits second in BCHL scoring, despite playing five fewer games than the league’s top point getter. The Victoria native leads the Vees in scoring, power-play goals and is tied for team lead in Assists!

PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER

#89 Brad McClure
Our November Player of the Month led all Vees in scoring, putting up 7 goals and 10 points in as many games. He now leads the Vees in goals with 17 and sits fifth in the BCHL. He currently has a three-game goal-scoring streak and sits third in team scoring with 25 points in 28 games.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

#77 Troy Stecher
Our December Player of the Month averaged a point per-game as a DEFENSEMAN in eight games; highlighted by a 4 point night versus Merritt on December 7^th. He currently leads all BCHL defenseman in assists and points; 24^th overall in league scoring. He does it all for the Vees, playing against the oppositions top-line, on the power-play and on the penalty-kill.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR JANUARY

#19 Cody DePourcq

The player of the month for January found his scoring touch in the New Year. He put together a five game scoring streak, which included scoring the Vees first goal in four straight games. He finished the month with five goals and six points in eight games. He now has a career high in goals and points.Cody will be on his way to Grant King Men’s Wear next week to be fitted for a new Calvin Kline suit. Making the presentation for Grant King’s are the owners Doug and Karen McPherson. 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY

#24 Jedd Soleway

The player of the month for February  led all Vees in scoring, putting up 7 goals and 12 points in 7 games. He had a personal best 5-point game on February 9th against Alberni Valley, helping the Vees to an 8-4 victory. He recorded 2 or more points in 4 of the 7 games he played in February, and since coming to the Vees in December, he has amassed 13 goals and 27 points in 20 games. Jedd will be on his way to Grant King Men’s Wear next week to be fitted for a new Calvin Kline suit. Making the presentation for Grant King’s are the owners Doug and Karen McPherson.
