Facility Capacities:
The new South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) will seat 5,500 for hockey and up to 7,500 for concerts, family shows and other events. This includes 540 Club Seats, 25 Luxury Private Suites and 3 rental Hospitality Suites.
Floor Size:
In hockey configuration, the SOEC has a surface area of approximately 17,000 square feet (200’ x 85’). The surface area can be expanded to Olympic size of approximately 19,405 square feet (210’ x 100’).
Television/Video System:
The SOEC is equipped with an in-house TV/video system that includes cameras, state-of-the-art Daktronics center hung video scoreboard, numerous television monitors and full video production and editing capabilities.
Food and Beverage:
All food, beverage, and concessions are operated by Ovations Food Services. Together with the SOEC, Ovations provides the appropriate number of stands to serve the public. High end catering will be available in the Luxury Suites and the exclusive Valley First Vault Bar & Grill located on the concourse level.

The Penticton Vees are proud members of the BCHL, consisting of top amateur talent in British Columbia. The City of Penticton is known for its strong hockey tradition and the Vees storied history as champions. The Vees are a very important part of our community.
Our Team:
Over 93,000 fans attended Penticton Vees games during the 2011-12 season achieving the highest attendance record in the league. Ranked as Canada's number one team for most of the season by the Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Vees on the BCHL Interior Conference Championship, Fred Page Cup Championship, Doyle Cup Championship and the RBC Cup National Championship. Also the Vees won 42 consecutive games in the regular season, a CJHL record.
